The Balcony Inspection Bill requires buildings with 3 or more units or 2 or more stories in height to be inspected every 6 years after the initial inspection deadline January 1, 2025.  

Work Includes:

• Evaluation of condition and performance of deck, balcony, landing, stairway structure
• Determine if structure suffered water intrusion resulting in dry rot 
• Look for indications of rust or corrosion
• Examination of wooden joists, beams, and posts
• Railing Inspection
